Jay Z Talks About Barneys Petition!

Rapper JAY Z has finally replied to critics urging him to sever ties with Barney’s after several African American shoppers accused the luxury department store of racial profiling and discrimination.JAY Z took to his Life and Times website to reveal his choice to stand by the franchise writing, “This collaboration lives in a place of giving and is about the Foundation. I am not making a dime from this collection. The Shawn Carter Foundation is the beneficiary and the foundation is receiving 25% of all sales from the collaboration, 10% of all sales generated in the store on November 20th and an additional donation from Barneys. This money is going to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships to help further their education at institutions of higher learning.”
The Brooklyn native, who revealed he has also been a victim of racial profiling continued, “The negligent, erroneous reports and attacks on my character, intentions, and the spirit of this collaboration have forced me into a statement I didn’t want to make without the full facts. Making a decision prematurely to pull out of this project, wouldn’t hurt Barneys or Shawn Carter, but all the people that stand a chance at higher education.”

Did Fabolous Brother Rob Waffle House???

There is word in the street that  Fabulous’ brother is one of the men behind robberies at a Waffle House in Buckhead, Atlanta, around 6:30 Monday morning. According Hollywood Street King, Darryl “Ruggs” McKinney , and members of his crew are responsible for the reported “hits” on customers at the 24-hour eatery. That’s when “several people” inside the restaurant — located on Piedmont Road, north of Pharr Road — were reportedly forced to give up their belongings. “Ruggs has an after hours club called ‘Room Lounge’ … it’s there that he and his goons size up their victims, who normally head to Waffle House to eat after partying at ‘Room Lounge'.   Here’s what Police Officer Kim Jones told The Atlanta Journal Constitution about the bandits: “The victims, who had previously been at the Room Service Lounge, arrived at the Waffle House and sat in a booth at the back of the restaurant by the restrooms. About five minutes later, the two suspects entered and sat down at the counter.
