Idris Elba Says Black Men Make Excuses!


Luther star IDRIS ELBA doesn’t feel their should be so much focus put on the difference between white and black actors’ abilities to get roles in Hollywood, although he admits it occurs.
ELBA says Black Hollywood dwells on race in Hollywood too much, and while it can be more difficult for Black actors and actresses to get roles, that they shouldn’t use it as a crutch.
”Are there differences between Black actors’ opportunities and white actors’ opportunities? Yes, there are. It’s been said. I’d rather a young Black actor read about success as opposed to how tough it was,” ELBA told Uptown magazine.
”I get these roles because I can act and that’s it. Hopefully that’s it. The less I talk about being black, the better.”
It’s speculated that ELBA is in the running for a part in the upcoming Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, after wrapping up an impressive performance in the action flick Prometheus, scheduled for release next Friday.

Did Fabolous Brother Rob Waffle House???

There is word in the street that  Fabulous’ brother is one of the men behind robberies at a Waffle House in Buckhead, Atlanta, around 6:30 Monday morning. According Hollywood Street King, Darryl “Ruggs” McKinney , and members of his crew are responsible for the reported “hits” on customers at the 24-hour eatery. That’s when “several people” inside the restaurant — located on Piedmont Road, north of Pharr Road — were reportedly forced to give up their belongings. “Ruggs has an after hours club called ‘Room Lounge’ … it’s there that he and his goons size up their victims, who normally head to Waffle House to eat after partying at ‘Room Lounge'.   Here’s what Police Officer Kim Jones told The Atlanta Journal Constitution about the bandits: “The victims, who had previously been at the Room Service Lounge, arrived at the Waffle House and sat in a booth at the back of the restaurant by the restrooms. About five minutes later, the two suspects entered and sat down at the counter.
