Lauryn Hill just pled guilty to a major federal crime ... admitting she intentionally failed to file several tax returns in the past decade -- and now the former Fugees singer faces 3 years in prison. Hill pled guilty today to three counts of failure to file tax returns for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007 -- when she earned more than $1.8 million. When the judge asked if Hill "intentionally and willingly" failed to file the returns, she replied, "Yes." In addition to the 3 years behind bars, Hill could be smacked with $75,000 in fines. Hill was released on $150,000 bail. Her sentencing hearing is set for November.

The woman arrested in front of Usher 's house last weekend was later admitted to a psych ward for mental evaluation -- after insisting she was the singer's wife -- this according to law enforcement. 26-year-old Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw was arrested outside Usher's Georgia home Sunday after disobeying a criminal trespass warning -- ordering her to stay off his property. Cops issued the warning the previous day, when Darshelle showed up to Usher's house the first time ... and someone on the property had to call police. Now, Urban Report has obtained the incident report from Johns Creek PD that describes the events in detail -- claiming when cops arrived Sunday in response to a suspicious person call, they found Darshelle on the front porch using her iPad. According to the report, Usher had spotted her on his surveillance camera and called the police himself. Once they identified her, cops placed Darshelle under arrest for violating the criminal trespass ...

USHER has taken legal action against a woman who has completely lost her marbles! Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw claims she’s USHER’s wife, and has been given a temporary restraining order after she allegedly turned up at his house uninvited on more than one occasion. According to TMZ , police were called when the stalker appeared at his mansion on June 23, and she was issued with a stern warning, but returned again the next day, claiming she was the singer’s wife and couldn’t get into his home because she had lost her keys. Usher will be seeking to get a permanent order in place at a hearing next month, while Darshelle takes to YouTube to explain her relationship with USHER and her version of what happened.

Rapper 50 CENT  was released from the hospital yesterday, after being involved in a nasty car accident Monday night in NYC. According to the rapper’s website, ThisIs50.com, the rapper’s SUV was rammed by a Mack truck when his chauffeur when the truck driver lost control of his vehicle. The Mack truck nearly flipped over 50′s car after the impact and both he and the driver received serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital in a stretcher. “[50 Cent] was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries.

Rodney King was not a wealthy man when he died ... and now his family is asking the public for donations so they can pay for a proper burial for the infamous LAPD beating victim. Despite the fact King scored a $3.8 million settlement from the City of L.A. after the 1992 incident, King's family tells that there is basically no money left over to pay for his funeral costs, which are expected to run north of $22k. The family has now issued a statement, through their rep, Kali Bowyer , asking people to contribute to a memorial fund established "for those who wish to contribute to the King family." A Kansas City , Mo., mother is behind bars, accused of keeping her 10-year-old daughter locked in a closet, not letting her come out to eat, sleep or even go to the bathroom. The girl weighed just 32 pounds, and hospital records indicated that she has only gained 6 pounds since she was 4 or 5 years old, according to a police probable cause statement. The girl also suffers from "multiple healing skin injuries and failure to thrive," the statement said. "She weighed a little over a third of what a 10-year-old should weigh," Kansas City Police Capt . Steve Young said. "We don't know how long or how frequently she's been in there [the closet], but it's clear she'd spent a significant amount of time in there." Kansas City police met Missouri Children's Division workers outside the apartment building Friday morning after the division received a hotline call about a girl who was locked up and unable to eat or use the restroom. Some of Halle Berry 's "New Year's Eve" money will be going to baby daddy Gabriel Aubry , because a judge has just ordered the actress to shell out nearly a quarter of a million bucks a year in child support. Lawyers for Halle and Gabriel were in court Monday, and sources connected with Gabriel tell that the family law judge ordered Halle to pay Nahla 's daddy $20,000 a month . Meet JOSELINE HERNANDEZ, the feisty former stripper who candidly says whatever is on her mind. Urban Report  caught up with Joseline right before the premiere episode of VH1’s latest hit to discuss her background, her relationship with STEVIE J , and her understanding of his relationship with girlfriend MIMI FAUST .  Your accent is part Latin with a southern twang. What’s your background? JH: I’m Puerto Rican. I was born in Puerto Rico and I went to Miami. I was raised in Miami. That’s where the accent is coming from. Drake is solely to blame for inflaming the violent mob that severely injured several innocent people ... so says a 4th woman who was injured in the melee and is now threatening to sue the rapper. Innocent Victim #4, Vladimira Brace, has lawyered up -- claiming she suffered a spinal injury when she was trampled in the melee that ensued inside W.i.P. nightclub in NYC on June 13. Brace's attorney has already fired off a letter to Drake's reps ... saying point blank, "Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown " ... and adds, "[Drake's] actions were reckless and negligent in inflaming a violent mob." Sorry ladies, Bobby Brown is officially off the market ... again. Bobby married his manager/baby mama Alicia Etheredge yesterday ... during a private ceremony in Honolulu. According to People.com , Brown was surrounded by some of his kids Landon, La'Princia, Bobby Jr. and 3-year-old Cassius ... the couple's only child together. Bobbi Kristina -- Brown's daughter with ex-wife Whitney Houston was apparently not at the ceremony.
